Nom-t grew up in the dusty township called Diepkloof, Soweto in 1987. I’m a second child from three siblings. Fashion has always been my passion from way back having to dress dolls and cutting of my own cloths in order to suit my style. I finished school in 2005 then 2006 joined an art school called Soyikwa art centre I see myself as a very artistic person the love of acting, musical and dance that passion I still need to revisit but it has always been fashion. 2007 that’s were I registered at Birnam Business College where I enrolled for Advanced Fashion Design, then graduated in2010 from then I knew were passion lies, I then registered my business formally in 2010 as a close corporation.

In 2012 I got a chance to showcase my craft at the Soweto Fashion Week showcasing my craft to the fashion lovers in Soweto and now I have a following people really appreciating my craft. In 2016 had a chance to be a fashion stylist for an award winning life style show

UJU DESIGNS is my clothing label. Taking part at the Soweto Fashion Week gave me a platform to showcase my talent to the crowd and now I have a following people really appreciating my craft. I currently work with clients as I do custom made clothing from formal wear to casual wear for women who are very outgoing.

It was never a smooth sailing being an entrepreneur not knowing were your next paycheck will come, I have always been hungry I’m still hungry for the industry, nothing beats understanding the industry you in and knowing what works, who is your target and your unique style.

Having a film background again doing fashion as I was a wardrobe standby for an award winning TV soap really broaden my spectrum about fashion and film that you are telling a story through your craft.
