Tashinga Chigombe

"My name is Tashinga Chigombe , founder of “YET GALORE”. An upcycling brand inspired by daily clothing surrounding human encounters and Nature aesthetics.

I Moved to the city of Victoria Falls in year 2019 ,and finished my High-school at “Mosi-Oa-Tanya. After finishing Highschool I went to college in the City of Bulawayo.

I’ve been designing for just over 2 years now. I Studied Pattern Making and design at Speciss college . Always loved the idea of recreating clothing pieces and recycling material offcuts , and also the idea to one day start a brand of my own under those ethics.

I created/made pieces during my time at college for my personal use , and later came up with the brand name “YET”(by now or then) , focusing on futuristic things (what the future would be like with the implementation of sustainable fashion. “GALORE” ( in excess) , a whole lot. Summing up to YET GALORE , “pieces in excess”
